The 7th Hokage: Naruto Uzumaki

After 700 chapters, 72 volumes, a total of 720 episodes from both series, Naruto has finally ended. It's been quite a ride over these 18 years since Naruto started serialization. Naruto has been a part of my, and many others childhoods and to see it finally end is a bit sad but at the same time quite joyous. While plagued with filler the series was very good. Full of emotional moments, memorable characters and an uplifting story about an outcast child becoming the most loved and famous person, not only in his village but in the whole world as well. Naruto will always have a place in my heart and it's characters will stick with me for years, decades to come. To see Naruto finally not only become Hokage but to actually have a family, something he never had before is the most satisfying ending I could hope for. Now in just a few short weeks Boruto will start its TV anime which means more adventures and more chances to connect with our favorite characters once again. I look forward to what happens next but whatever happens will never take away what Naruto was, one of the greatest anime/manga to come out of the shonen genre.
